Leonardo Sempertegui appointed General Legal Counsel of OPEC

With effect August 14, 2018, I was appointed General Legal Counsel of OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) based in Vienna, Austria.

In this position, I will work under the leadership of Mr. Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, Secretary General of OPEC.

Due to this circumstance, I will not prepare or publish new posts for this blog, while I am performing my new role. Hopefully I will share news or specific information to non-oil related matters, however my personal contributions are now suspended.

The blog will be resumed after conclusion of my duties.
